Banned Book Week

I'm a little late, but for Banned Book Week I decided to read The Catcher in the Rye which I'd never read before, even though I own two copies of it. Glad I did though. It was very truthful. I like when it used the phrase "crumb bum" haha...twice!
If I had read it in high school, it would have made a big impact on my life in some way. Not that I didn't read any books in high school that changed my life...but I still have Jansson's reading list and plan to read them all sooner or later. Seriously probably the best teacher I've ever had.

Now to continue with the banned book theme, maybe I'll go read the obscene adventures of Captain Underpants.
